Validity period of the temporary residence card

Depending on the purpose of residence and the eligible category, a temporary residence card may be valid from 02 years up to a maximum of 10 years under current regulations. Note that the card's validity must be at least 30 days shorter than the remaining validity of the passport.

Temporary residence card application dossier

Depending on the applicant category, the dossier may include:

A written request from the inviting or sponsoring agency, organization, or individual.
A temporary residence card application form with a photo attached.
A valid passport.
A visa or lawful residence documents in Vietnam.
A work permit or a certificate of work permit exemption (if applicable).

The corporate legal documents of the sponsoring enterprise or organization.
